The Ultimate Sorter Model 4 - Package

I rarely write reviews and I feel like I should on this one because the reviews are what pushed me over the edge to buy it. This is one of those times I am happy about spending $1,000+. The a mount of time this has saved me is worth it. I sort approx 1,000-1,500 pounds of mixed brass per month. This thing is a god send. I was using the hand trays and they work, but this really works. I run a small brass and reloading operation. Mostly I go to gun shows and sell on Facebook and such. This has just made all the difference for me. I wasn't convinced that it would work because it's so much cheaper then the big ones. It really does work. It's a little quirky, but nothing bad. You learn how to use it very quick. My advice is go slow and sort twice. You save time when you don't fill the hopper all the way up. It's simply more efficient going slow. Plus you can inspect it and pull the 9mm out of the 40 cal. It also gives the 22 a chance to better fall through the grate. Then I advise you to run each tub back through the machine. Starting with the larger caliber stuff to smaller. This lets anything that was captured separate. There isn't much left to separate, but this makes quick work of it. I had a little issue with 2 of the runners on my 380 tray, but I was able to sand it just so slightly and correct. I am sure that it would of been taken care of had I asked, but it was an easy fix. I'm sure it's because of the type of material used on the tray. It really only took me 2-5 minutes to fix. Even with that I am still giving it 5 starts. Best $1,000 I have spent in a long time.

My advice if you are on the fence on this and have a lot of brass to sort BUY IT.
